These polymers are block copolymers of hydrophillic, biocompatible poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG), and biodegradable polymers such as poly(lactide-co-glycolide) (PLGA), poly(caprolactone) (PCL), and poly(lactide) (PLA). Ideal for delivery of poorly soluble drugs such as paclitaxel.
