PolyVivo AV09 is rhodamine endcapped polymer which appears to be a dark, red solid. This polymer exhibits fluorescence similar to rhodamine B which is abs ~540nm emmision ~565nm allowing it to be vissualized on fluorescence imaging devices such as microscopes. Its usage is highly similar to PLGA-Fluorescein in that it can be used to track the location of polymer systems. It's application is extended however in multi-stained systems where there may be another material which fluoresces in the FITC region already that needs to be seperated from the polymer system.Blog dedicated to answering technical questions in an open format relating to PolySciTech (A division of Akina, Inc.) products.
