The
fluorophone adapter kit is not just for a smart phone. The filter can be applied to any camera recording device for live fluorescence macroimaging. In the picture a simple addition of the filter to a digital video-camera allows for live-mode fluorescence imaging of mice upon necropsy. To the right a screenshot is shown of a mouse (euthanized humanely and handled under PACUC auspices) upon necropsy. In the hindlimb flourescently loaded (coumarin-6) microparticles which had been injected intra-muscularly in the calf region glow brightly allowing for easy localization.
