PolyVivo Product AK-PLCL-75K has highly strong and elastic properties as shown in this video. Most biodegradable polymers are highly brittle and shatter if compressed. However, an unplasticized clump of this material easily handles being compressed by a 1/4 inch steel ball due to its elastic nature.
