One drawback of using PLGA-PEG-PLGA and other thermogels is the long time necessary to dissolve them in water. Often, this can be upwards of two days. Recent testing at Akina has found that this time can be cut from 2 days down to around 2 hours by mixing these polymers with PEG-400 biocompatible solvent.
